I am very passionate about what we do here at Alexander Canines, and I have been raising and placing puppies since I was 10 years old, thanks to my family and my amazing grandpa, who has served as my mentor and consultant. I started with a sweet yellow Labrador named Bonanza, who inspired me to begin this little business. I truly believe that the person who said "A dog is man's best friend" must have had a dog like her—she was truly amazing!

After receiving a chocolate lab from my sister-in-law, I hoped to raise adorable Labrador puppies. However, tragic events led to the passing of Bonanza. In 2021, we welcomed two wonderful Miniature Australian Shepherds, Rascal and Miss Virginia, which allowed us to shift our focus. In 2022, we were excited to add another beautiful female from my grandpa, who is a breeder in Mississippi—Miss Mellony. Additionally, we brought in two stunning Golden Retrievers, Hero and Zara. We prioritize maintaining a healthy pedigree, and all of our sires and dams have their health clearances. This ensures that we can produce the healthiest, top-quality puppies possible. Our program continues to thrive, emphasizing a quality pedigree, show-quality looks and build, and, most importantly, amazing temperament and health.

How we raise our puppies is equally important to us. Our puppies are raised in our home, and since socialization is crucial for development, we include these precious pups in our lives from day one, until they become a part of yours. We provide top-quality nutrition and veterinary care, and each puppy comes to you with a vet certificate and a clean bill of health.

While we lived in Florida for most of the time we've been raising puppies, we moved to South Carolina this year and have never been happier! With God as our priority, we chose to relocate to Liberty, South Carolina, where we are part of an amazing church with a large and thriving congregation. We feel incredibly blessed to participate in this community. This move was a leap of faith, and as a result, we have experienced more blessings than we could have imagined!

With this leap of faith, we were also fortunate to welcome our newest member into the Alexander Canines family—Miss Delilah! She joined us this year from Dowagiac, Michigan. Delilah is a stunning Miniature Australian Shepherd with a beautiful black, white, and copper coat and striking ice-blue eyes. She is a happy, outgoing girl who loves hiking and running, and she is fitting in wonderfully with our family!
